Option: Profibus DP
(Monitor)
Set-up only required if a PROFIBUS measurement point is to be used by this channel.
•
Slave address
Select the address of the respective sensor. Every sensor “slave” must have an
individual address. The measured value (the digital bus signal) is handled the same
as any conventional analogue measurement point.
Hint:
If the slave supplies more than one set of measurements (“Input Index Data” on
multiparameter sensors), each measurement requires an individual channel.
•
Index Input _Data
Position, where the measured value information starts in the PROFIBUS transmitter
data set. On single channel units: “000". Please also note details in the sensor
operating manual.
•
Data type
Mostly “Floating Point”. Please note the details in the sensor operating manual.
Option: Profibus DP
(Slave)
Using the point Miscelaneous/Interface/Communication the external DP-Slave module
can be selected. This includes Slave address, Baudrate, time out and data
construction (see additional documetation: ZBA117ren).
Hint:
Select a slave address smaller than 126.
