Communicator
The 375 Field Communicator is an interface device that provides a common
communication link to HART-compatible instruments, such as the
X-STREAM. HART Communications Protocol permits all the information
available from the X-STREAM unit's electronics to be transmitted over
standard 4-20 mA signal wires. By attaching the 375 Field Communicator at a
termination point along the 4-20 mA signal line, a technician can diagnose
problems and configure and calibrate the Hazardous Area X-STREAM as if
he or she were standing in front of the instrument.
