The ADR-Auto does not look for a sample failure when testing ACV or TFV sample
types.

Note that when an ACV sample type is selected, the ADR-Auto automatically sets
default values of 0.66kN/sec for the pace rate, and 400kN for the threshold, so that
the compression cycle lasts 10 minutes and ceases when a load of 400kN is reached.
If required, edit the pace rate and threshold values.

The ADR-Auto does not set default pace rate and threshold when a TFV sample type
is selected and the pace rate and threshold must be user entered.

4.9

Recorded Test Results

The ADR-Auto can store up to 500 individual test results. When the memory is full,
the oldest records are overwritten by the newest records so that the memory always
holds the latest data. The records can be viewed or printed by pressing the view or
print key while in the

Initial Screen

.

4.9.1 Printing the Current Test Result

The test results can be printed from the Sample Failed or Initial Screens by pressing
the Print key. If the printer is not connected or does not respond, the ADR Auto will
display the message –

Printer Error. Retry? – Yes

in a window on the screen. Check that the printer is connected to the serial port and
is “on line” or “selected” (refer to your printer manual). Use the

No

and press the

Enter

key. If a further printer error occurs,

check that the serial port settings agree with those set in the printer (see section
4.16.2). The format of the printout will depend on the sample type selected. See
Appendix 4 for printout formats.

4.9.2 Downloading Test Data

All logged records may be downloaded to a PC (IBM compatible personal computer)
by use of a download program available from ELE International.

4.9.3 Viewing Test Data

Press the view button to view the test data stored in the ADR-Auto’s memory. The
screen display will be of the form –

Note the down arrow displayed in the bottom right hand corner. This indicates that
there is another screen of data available. To access this, press the

Down Arrow

key.
