Selecting the Modbus map type
The download link beside each device provides the Modbus register map for channels in the device configuration
file. Before downloading the map, decide if you want a zero based register map and then select the check box.
The map contains all of the information you should need, including:
The register offset.
The number of registers for the channel.
The register type.
Possible values when there is a limited set (such as for boolean and some integer values).
Whether you can write to the register.
Provides recommended Modbus Function code fro register
The units for the data.
Whether the channel data is trendable.
To help you reconcile the register map with the device channels shown in the PXG, the CSV file also contains:
The device channel name
The PXG category, such as Power, Current, or Demand.
