4.2.3 Redundant Operation with Maintenance Bypass – Bypass Mode
The wraparound MBP is closed, supplying the critical load with bypass power. The MIS is
opened, isolating the UPMs from the load. The MOBs may be opened to isolate the
individual UPMs.
The critical load is not protected while the system is in Maintenance Bypass mode.
Figure 4-5 shows the path of electrical power through the IAC during redundant operation
when bypass is in maintenance mode.
