3.8.5 Working with vibration
When compacting with vibration you must always check the effect
of the vibration on nearby buildings and underground supply lines
(gas, water, sewage, electric power). If necessary stop compacting
with vibration.
Do not activate the vibration on hard (frozen, concrete) ground.
Components may get damaged.
3.8.6 Parking the machine
Park the machine on horizontal, level, firm ground.
Before leaving the machine:
n
shift all control levers to “neutral position”, “off” or “0”;
n
switch off the engine and remove the ignition key;
n
remove the main battery switch;
n
secure the machine against unauthorised use.
Mark machines, which could be in the way, with a clearly visible
sign.
When parking on ascents or descents use appropriate means to
secure the machine against rolling.
