6.4 Working with vibration
6.4.1 Preliminary remarks and safety notes
NOTICE!
Possible damage to neighbouring buildings!
–
When compacting with vibration you must
always check the effect of the vibration on
nearby buildings and underground supply lines
(gas, water, sewage, electric power).
–
If necessary stop compacting with vibration.
NOTICE!
Components may get damaged!
–
Do not activate the vibration on hard (frozen,
concrete) ground.
Vibration at standstill causes transverse marks:
n
Switch the vibration on only after shifting the travel lever in the
desired travel direction.
n
Switch the vibration off before stopping the machine.
In automatic mode, vibration is automatically activated when the
machine starts moving. When it stops, the vibration switches off
automatically.
This avoids the formation of transverse marks caused by vibration
with the machine at standstill.
6.4.2 Vibration in automatic mode
1.
Switch the toggle switch for travel speed ranges to the “rear”
position.
