DEFINITIONS AND PICTOGRAMS
Definitions:
The following terms are used in this manual:
"Product": Equipment element or assembly defined on the cover page, delivered complete in
its standard version, or as one of the various models described.
"Installation": Comprehensive set of operations required to place a complete product in a
condition ready for commissioning (or connection to other components for
commissioning), starting from the state in which the product has been delivered.
"User": Person or department in charge of management and safe use of the product
described in the manual.
"Technician": Qualified person in charge of the maintenance operations described and authorised
to the user by the manual ; the technician is understood to be skilled and familiar
with the product.
"Operator": Person or department using the product in compliance with the purpose for which it
is intended.
"Sensor": LLX2 or LLXh sensor, or any other load cell implementing a strain gauge associated
to an LLXt module, thus becoming a component of an "LLX2 System".
"LLX2 System": Any force measuring system using LLX2 technology.

« DANGER »: Remarks intended to prevent fatal, serious or minor injury to personnel or
damage to the environment.
« IMPORTANT »: Remarks intended to prevent a failure or damage to the product, but not
directly endangering the life or health of the operator or any other person, or
damage to the environment.
« NOTE »: Remarks concerning precautions to be taken to ensure easy, efficient installation,
use and maintenance.
