Networking the

LabelWriter

You can share a LabelWriter on a network just
like most document printers.

Connecting to

a LabelWriter

Over a

Windows

Network

If the LabelWriter you want to use is connected
to another computer on the network, you can
configure other computers to use this printer
(computers that use the shared LabelWriter are
referred to as “clients”).

Before you configure clients to share a
LabelWriter, make sure:

!

The LabelWriter is properly installed on a PC on
the network (see the Quick Start Card for more
information).

!

The LabelWriter is configured as a Shared printer
(see your Windows documentation for informa-
tion).

The steps below describe how to install the
DYMO Label Software and printer driver on each
client computer. Perform these steps for each of
the clients that need to use the LabelWriter.

Insert the LabelWriter CD in the client
computer’s CD-ROM drive.
