6.18 Replacement of the brake solenoid
Disassembly:
-
Disconnect the battery and spark plug to prevent accidental starting of the machine and possible injury

Disconnect both terminals of the solenoid
-
Disconnect the control string from the brake lever
-
Remove the solenoid from the bracket and the bracket itself from the pump
Mounting: (Take the above steps in reverse order)

For the proper function of the solenoid is needed correct adjusting of the string tension
-
Engage down the brake lever (position near the frame), hook the string through the lever hole and secure it with
the collar. The string should not be too much tensioned

Connect the main battery, first
