GRINDING AND INSPECTION OF THE CUTTING BLADE
To check the blade geometry:
•
the blade must not be bent
•
never straighten a bent blade, USE NEW!
•
the ends of the knife must be flush (test whether the whole surface is on a flat surface)
Grinding:
•
grind
only 100 mm sharp part
of the blade
•
grinding is carried out at an
angle of 45 °
•
grind
both sides
of the knife
evenly
(up to a
maximum depth of 12 mm
)
•
after sharpening
check the balance
of the blade!
7.9 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Maintenance of the hydraulic drive must be done by properly trained service personnel.
WARNING
Damaged hoses can cause fatal accidents. Check the hoses regularly. Do not use the mower if the hoses
or their fittings are damaged.
WARNING
Thin jets of fluid escaping from the nozzles at high pressure can penetrate the skin. Protect your face and
hands from fluid under pressure and wear personal protective equipment. Hold cardboard where you
suspect a leak, and then check for any traces of hydraulic fluid. Seek medical advice immediately if
hydraulic fluid penetrates the skin.
CHECK THE HOSES REGULARLY FOR:
•
Damaged hose ends
•
Worn external covers
•
Concave outer covers
•
Tangled or crushed parts
•
Stripped reinforcement in outer covers
•
Extruded hose fittings
•
Worn casing or hose guard breaks
Exchange of the hydraulic hoses must be done only by the authorized service center.
