REGOLAZIONE DEL CAVO
COMANDO GAS
La manopola di comando del gas in tutte le
posizioni di sterzata deve avere una corsa a
vuoto, misurata sulla periferia del bordino della
manopola, di 1,5
÷
2,0 mm. Se è necessario
regolarla, agite sugli appositi registri (1, fig. 33)
situati in corrispondenza del comando stesso.
PULIZIA E SOSTITUZIONE
CANDELE
(fig. 34)
La candela costituisce un elemento molto
importante del motore e va periodicamente
controllato. Questa operazione è relativamente
facile e veloce e Vi permetterà di verificare il
buono stato di funzionamento del motore.
Sfilate le pipette dalle candele e rimuoverle dalla
testa utilizzando la chiave di corredo.
Verificate la colorazione dell’isolante ceramico
dell’elettrodo centrale: una colorazione uniforme
marrone chiaro è testimone di un buono stato del
motore. Se trovate colorazioni diverse o
incrostazioni scure, sostituite la candela e riferite
quanto riscontrato al Vostro Concessionario.
Controllate anche l’usura dell’elettrodo centrale.
Se risulta consumato o vetroso, sostituite la
candela.
Controllate la distanza fra gli elettrodi: deve
essere di 0,6 mm.
Importante
Se dovete operare una regolazione piegate
con molta attenzione l’elettrodo laterale. Una
distanza maggiore o minore, oltre a diminuire le
prestazioni, pùò causare difficoltà di avviamento
o problemi di funzionamento al minimo.
THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
The throttle cable must have a free play of 1.5–
2.0 mm, measured at the edge of the twistgrip,
at all positions of the handlebars. If it needs
adjusting, use the suitable adjusters (1, fig. 33)
provided on the throttle control.
CLEANING AND REPLACING
THE SPARK PLUGS
(fig. 34)
Spark plugs are essential to smooth engine
running and should be checked at regular
intervals. This is done quite easily and quickly
and provides a good measure of engine
condition.
Remove the spark plug caps from the cylinder
head using the wrench supplied with the bike.
Check the colour of the insulating ceramic
material of the central electrode: a light brown,
even colour is a sign of good engine condition. If
colour has altered or you find any dark deposits,
change the spark plug and report this to your
Dealer.
Check wear on the central electrode. If it looks
worn out or has a vitreous appearance, change
the spark plug.
Check electrode gap: it should be 0.6 mm.
Important
If the gap needs adjusting, be very careful
when bending the side electrode. If gap is too
wide or too close, engine performance will be
affected. This could also cause difficult starting
or irregular idling.
Clean the electrode and the insulating material
accurately using a small metal brush and check
seal condition.
REGLAGE CABLE DE COMMANDE GAZ
La poignée de commande du gaz, dans toutes
les positions de braquage, doit avoir une course
à vide de 1,5
÷
2,0 mm, mesurée sur le bord de la
poignée. S’il y a lieu de la reprendre, agir sur les
éléments de réglage correspondants (1, fig. 33)
situés en correspondance de la commande elle-
même.
NETTOYAGE ET REMPLACEMENT
DES BOUGIES
(fig. 34)
La bougie constitue un élément du moteur très
important qui doit être périodiquement contrôlé.
Cette opération est assez facile et rapide et vous
permettra de vérifier le bon état de
fonctionnement du moteur.
Sortez les antiparasites des bougies et enlevez -
les des culasses en utilisant la clé en dotation.
Vérifiez la couleur de l’isolation céramique de
l’électrode centrale: une couleur marron claire
uniforme (rouge brique) révèle un bon
fonctionnement du moteur. Si vous constatez
des coloris différents ou de la calamine sombre,
remplacez la bougie et rapportez ce que vous
avez constaté à votre concessionnaire.
Contrôlez également l’usure de l’électrode
centrale. Si elle est présente usée ou vitreuse,
remplacez la bougie.
Contrôlez l’écart entre les électrodes: il doit être
de 0,6 mm.
Important
Si vous devez effectuer un réglage,
inclinez l’électrode latérale en faisant très
attention. Un écart plus ou moins important peut
rendre le moteur moins performant, peut être à
l’origine de difficultés de démarrage ou
