LUBRIFICAZIONE ARTICOLAZIONI
Periodicamente è necessario controllare la
condizione delle guaine esterne dei cavi di
comando acceleratore e del cavo comando
starter. Non devono presentare schiacciamenti o
screpolature nel ricoprimento plastico esterno.
Verificate agendo sul comando il funzionamento
scorrevole del cavo interno: se si manifestano
attriti o impuntamenti fatelo sostituire dal Vostro
Concessionario Ducati. Per scongiurare questi
inconvenienti lubrificate periodicamente le
estremità dei cavi di ogni trasmissione flessibile
con grasso prescritto.
Nel caso della trasmissione acceleratore è
consigliabile aprire il comando, svitando le 2 viti
di fissaggio (A, fig. 39), quindi ingrassare le
estremità dei cavi e la carrucola.
Attenzione
LUBRIFICATING CABLES AND JOINTS
The condition of the outer sheaths of the throttle
and fast-idle cables should be checked at regular
intervals. The sheaths should not show signs of
squeezing or cracks. Work the controls to make
sure the cable slides smoothly inside the sheath:
if you feel any friction or hard spots, have the
cable replaced by your Ducati Dealer. To prevent
these failures, smear the ends of the Bowden
cables with the recommended grease at regular
intervals.
For the throttle cable, it is best to open the
device by unscrewing the two screws (A, fig. 39)
and then grease the cable ends and the pulley.
Warning
When refitting the cover, be sure to slide
the cable into the suitable guide in the cover.
Lock the device using the two screws.
To ensure smooth operation of the side stand
joint, clean off any dirt and apply the
recommended grease at all points exposed to
friction.
LUBRIFICATION DES ARTICULATIONS
