AMMORTIZZATORE POSTERIORE
(fig. 15)
L’ammortizzatore posteriore è dotato di registri
esterni che Vi permettono di adeguare l’assetto
della moto alle condizioni di carico.
Il registro (1) posto sul lato destro in
corrispondenza del fissaggio inferiore
dell’ammortizzatore al forcellone, regola il freno
idraulico nella fase di estensione (ritorno).
Ruotando in senso orario il registro (1) si
aumenta il freno

; viceversa diminuisce

Taratura STANDARD:
dalla posizione di tutto chiuso (senso orario)
svitare il registro (1) di 8 scatti.
Due ghiere (2), poste nella parte superiore
dell’ammortizzatore, registrano il precarico della
molla esterna.
Per modificare il precarico della molla ruotate,
con una comune chiave a settore, la ghiera
superiore. Avvitando o svitando la ghiera inferiore
aumenterete o diminuirete il precarico.
Attenzione
Per ruotare la ghiera di registrazione del
precarico utilizzate solamente una chiave a
settore specifica ed usatela con particolare
cautela per evitare che il dente della chiave
possa uscire improvvisamente dal vano della
ghiera durante il movimento. Se ció dovesse
accadere, la mano dell’utilizzatore potrebbe
urtare violentemente altre parti del motociclo.
Non utilizzate assolutamente chiavi con dente
troppo piccolo o con impugnatura troppo corta.
L’ammortizzatore contiene gas ad alta pressione
e potrebbe causare seri danni se smontato da
personale inesperto.
SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTERS
(fig. 15)
The shock absorber has outer adjusters that
enable you to adjust your motorcycle to the load.
The adjuster (1) located on the right side, on the
connection holding the shock absorber to the
swingarm, is used to adjust the rebound
damping.
Turn the adjuster (1) clockwise to increase
damping

, anticlockwise to reduce it

STANDARD setting:
turn the adjusters all the way in (clockwise) then
slacken it of 8 clicks.
Two ring nuts (2), located on the top section of
the shock absorber are used to adjust the outer
spring preload.
To change spring preload, slacken the upper ring
nut with a common pin wrench. Then tighten or
slacken the lower ring nut to increase or
decrease spring preload as required.
Warning
Use a specific pin wrench only to turn the
pre-load adjusting ring nut. Be careful when
turning the ring nut with the key, as the pin may
slip out of the ring nut recess and you may hurt
your hand hitting motorcycle parts. Never use a
wrench with too small a pin or too short a
handgrip. The shock absorber is filled with gas
under pressure and may cause severe damage if
taken apart by unskilled persons.
When carrying a passenger and a load, set the
rear shock absorber spring to maximum preload
to improve motorcycle handling and keep safe
clearance from the ground. You may find that the
rebound damping needs readjusting.
ELEMENTS DE REGLAGE AMORTISSEUR
ARRIERE
(fig. 15)
L’amortisseur arrière est équipé d’éléments de
réglage extérieurs, vous permettant d’adapter
l’assiette de la moto aux conditions de charge.
La vis de réglage (1), placée sur le côté droit en
correspondance de la fixation inférieure de
l’amortisseur au bras oscillant, règle l’action
amortissante en extension (détente).
Si l’on tourne dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre l'élément de réglage (1) on augmente la
rigidité

; vice versa on la réduit

Tarage STANDARD:
à partir de la position totalement fermée (sens
des aiguilles d’une montre), desserrer l'élément
(1) de 8 déclics.
Deux bagues filetées (2), placées au côté
supérieur de l’amortisseur, règlent la précharge
du ressort extérieur.
Pour modifier la précharge du ressort desserrez,
à l’aide d'une normale clé à ergot, la bague
filetée supérieure. En serrant ou desserrant la
bague filetée inférieure on augmente ou on
réduit la précharge.
Attention
Pour tourner l’écrou annulaire de réglage
précharge n’utilisez qu'une clé à dent spécifique
et agissez avec une précaution particulière afin
d’empêcher que l’ergot de la clé sorte à
l’improviste de la rainure de l’écrou durant
l’action. Au cas où cela se produirait, la main de
l’utilisateur pourrait se heurter violemment
contre d’autres pièces du motocycle. N’utilisez
jamais de clé avec ergot trop petit ni poignée
trop courte. L’amortisseur AR contient du gaz
sous haute pression et pourrait provoquer des
dommages sérieux s’il était démonté par une
