PRECAUZIONI PER IL PRIMO PERIODO
D’USO DEL MOTOCICLO
Velocità di rotazione max.
(fig. 26)
Velocità di rotazione max. da rispettare nel
periodo di rodaggio (min
–1
):
1) Fino a 1000 km;
2) Da 1000 a 2500 km;
3) Oltre 2500 km.
Fino a 1000 km
Durante i primi 1000 km di marcia fate attenzione
al contagiri: non deve assolutamente superare i
6500
÷
7000
min
–1
.
evitando brusche e prolungate frenate.
particolarmente in salita.
Si consiglia inoltre di controllare spesso la
catena, avendo cura di lubrificarla e di tenderla,
se necessario.
RUNNING-IN RECOMMENDATIONS
Maximum engine speed
(fig. 26)
Maximum engine speed during the running-in
period (in min
–1
):
1) Up to 1000 km;
2) From 1000 to 2500 km;
3) Beyond 2500 km.
Up to 1000 km
For the first 1000 km, never exceed 6500–7000
min
–1
.
During the first hours of riding, it is advisable to
run the engine at varying load and rpm, tough
still within recommended limit.
To this end, roads with plenty of bends and even
slightly hilly areas are ideal for a most efficient
running-in of engine, brakes and suspensions.
For the first 1000 km, use the brakes gently. Do
not brake violently or keep brake applied for too
long. This will enable a correct break-in of friction
material on brake pads against brake discs.
For all mechanical parts of the motorcycle to
adapt to one another and above all not to
adversely affect the life of basic engine parts, it
is advisable to avoid harsh accelerations and not
to run the engine at high rpm for too long,
especially uphill.
Furthermore, the drive chain should be inspected
frequently. Lubricate and tighten it as required.
From 1000 to 2500 km
At this point, you can squeeze some more power
out of your engine, being careful, however, not
to exceed 8000 min
–1
until reaching 2500 km.
Strict observance of running-in recommendations
will ensure longer engine life and reduce the
likelihood of overhauls and tune-ups.
PRECAUTIONS POUR LA PREMIERE
PERIODE D’UTILISATION DU
MOTOCYCLE
Vitesse de rotation max.
(fig. 26)
Vitesse de rotation max. à respecter durant la
période de rodage (min
–1
):
1) Jusqu’à 1000 km;
2) De 1000 à 2500 km;
3) Au-delà de 2500 km
Jusqu’à 1000 km
Durant les 1000 premiers km de marche faite
attention au compte-tours: il ne doit absolument
pas dépasser les 6500
÷
7000 min
–1
.
