It is recommended to save the layout regularly. Click on
Save
under the
File
menu, and create a
DemoLayout.dfx
file
to save the layout as:
The first element that we want to add to this layout is a floor designation, to make this screen act as an elevator
position indicator. Click on the
Elevator Floor Designation
in the left hand
Toolbox
panel. The following message will
be displayed:
Sub elements can only be drawn inside a root
Element Canvas
, so we need to add one of these before we can add
the floor designation element.
