CAPACITY NOTES
• At sea level, 402 kJ are required to raise the temperature of one kilogram
of water from 4 °C to 100 °C.
• An additional 2257 kJ are required to change the state of one kilogram of
100 °C water to vapor.
• Another factor to consider is condensation steam loss from piping.
