Service
●
Repairs of the thermal imaging camera must be performed only by
qualified service personnel and not by end users.
●
If the thermal imaging camera needs to be serviced or repaired,
please contact Dräger Safety (USA: 800-922-5518) or your local
Dräger subsidiary and ask for a Service Return Authorization
number (SRA No.).
Always quote the SRA No. on the shipping documents and on the
packaging when you return the thermal imaging camera. You must
not return the thermal imaging camera without an SRA No.!
●
Since laws and shipping regulations prohibit the shipment of
hazardous or contaminated materials, decontaminate and clean
the thermal imaging camera before returning it to Dräger Safety in
order to remove any hazardous materials that may have settled on
the camera during use.
Products showing evidence of contamination will be professionally
decontaminated at the customer’s expense before servicing.
Dräger offers a full inspection for the camera including a function test
on request. For details contact Dräger Safety.
Storage
To ensure a long service life, the thermal imaging camera and the
accessories should always be stored in a moderate temperature
environment (50
o
F to 104
o

If the thermal imaging camera is stored at very low or very high
temperatures, it can result in operation or image disruptions. Usually
these problems will self-correct when the thermal imaging camera
reaches its normal storage temperature.
Avoid exposure of the camera to direct sunlight.
When using the thermal imaging camera again, wipe condensation
off the lens with a soft cloth.
NOTICE
When you store the camera, we recommend that you remove the
rechargeable battery from the thermal imaging camera and store it
separately at 41
o
F to 50
o
F/ 5
o
C to 10
o
C (e. g. in the refrigerator)
to keep the battery capacity as long as possible.
