Fault, cause and remedy
Faults or errors of the gas transmitter are displayed by the yellow status light and an analogue
output signal of < 1.2 mA (factory setting). Detailed error information can be read out with a PC
and the Dräger PolySoft software (see PC software online help) or with a HART
®
remote control.
If a fault cannot be corrected with the above actions, there is possibly a serious fault in the
device that can only be repaired by Dräger service.

correct installation and
damage.
– Run zero and span
calibration.
<1.2 mA or 0 mA Error in 4 to 20 mA
signal Fault in current
circuit for
analogue signal
transmission. – Check current circuit for
breaks or high resistance.
