Push a new Filament Reel firmly into the Filament Reel
Holder with the label facing outwards and ensure the
catch has clicked into place. See Figure 54.
Slide the Filament Reel Holder and Filament Reel onto
the rear of the Fluidic Factory.
The warning message “Please insert a new reel before
starting the print” as shown in Figure 55 will be
displayed if the Filament Reel is not properly fitted.
Fit the Print Nozzle, Filament Guide and Gearbox as
described in section 4.1.3 and 4.1.4

Recovering a Broken Filament
Remove the Gearbox, See Section 5.7, Figures 48 to
51.
Pull off the Filament Guide leaving the Print Nozzle in-
situ. It may be necessary to hold the Print Nozzle with
forceps/tweezers to separate them See Figure 56.
Move the Print Head to the cleaning position and wait ~
30seconds for the Print Nozzle to heat up.

NOTICE: The label on the centre of the Filament Reel has an embedded microchip. It is important that
is not removed as it contains important information that the Fluidic Factory requires.
NOTE: If the Print Nozzle is not properly seated, the Induction Heater will not operate.
