Select how to install.
Select “ 一覧または特定の場所からインストールする（詳細） [Install
from the list or a specific place (details)]”, then click “ 次へ (Next)”.

Select a driver.
Select “
次の場所で最適のドライバを検索する
(Search for the
appropriate driver in the place below)”, and uncheck “ リムーバブル
メディア（フロッピー、CD
-
ROMなど）を検索 [Search for the
removable media (floppy disk, CD-ROM, etc.)]”. Then check “ 次の場
所を含める
(Include the place below)”.
Click “ 参照 (Browse)”; specify “<CD-ROM drive name>:¥USB Driver
¥Win2k_XP”; then click “ 次へ (Next)”. (The CD-ROM drive name
varies depending on the personal computer you use.)
p The driver is common to Windows ® 2000 Professional.

Click “
完了
(Complete)”.
All the four “P702iD communication setup files” (driver) (see page 6)
are installed.
After you complete the installation of all the “P702iD communication
setup files” (driver), pop-up message “
新しいハードウェアがインス
トールされ、使用準備ができました。 (New hardware is installed,
and the system is ready.)” appears for a few seconds from the
indicator of the task bar.

Connect the FOMA phone and the FOMA USB
Cable (option). (See page 3)

Start Windows

, then set “FOMA P702iD
CD-ROM” into the personal computer.

Close the “Launcher” display.
p
This display automatically appears when you set “FOMA P702iD
CD-ROM” into the personal computer. It may not appear
depending on the settings of your personal computer. In this case,
go to step 4.
p If this display appears during installation of the “P702iD
communication setup files” (driver), click “
閉じる (Close)”.
Next, confirm that the “P702iD communication setup files” (driver) are
installed correctly. (See page 6)

Turn on the power of the FOMA phone, then
connect the FOMA USB Cable, which is
already connected to the FOMA phone, to the
personal computer.

Start installation.
Click “
次へ
(Next)”.

Select “ デバイスに最適なドライバを検索する
（推奨） [Search for the appropriate driver for
the device (recommended)]”, then click “ 次へ
(Next)”.

“USB DEVICE” may appear depending on the personal computer
you use.

Select “ 場所を指定 (Specify a place)”, then
click “ 次へ (Next)”.

Specify the folder you want to search for.
The folder name is “<CD-ROM drive name>:¥USB Driver¥Win2k_XP”.
After specifying the folder you want to search for, click “OK”.
(The CD-ROM drive name varies depending on the personal
computer you use.)

Confirm the driver name (see page 6), then
click “ 次へ (Next)”.
“FOMA P702iD” is displayed here.

Click “ 完了 (Complete)”.
