Entering by quoting another data
You can enter characters quoting from the data of
Phonebook or Password manager.

Perform required operations
Quoting from Phonebook : [ 電話帳／ ATOK ダイレクト
(Phonebook/ATOK direct input)] → Select a name in
the contacts list

Mark item to quote

[OK]
Quote from Password manager : [Password manager]
→ Authenticate → [OK] → Select a title → in "ID (

)" field or "Password" field

Alternatively, while entering characters, tap

Entering by voice input
You can enter characters by converting your voice.

When entering characters, / →
Speak the word you want to enter

Select a character from the search
suggestion list

If the spoken word is not recognized properly, tap
[Redo] to speak again.

You can display candidates not on screen by
scrolling the recognition candidate list up and
down.
◆ Switching to other input method
You can also switch to another input method such as the
Android keyboard to enter characters.
･
The Android keyboard does not support the Japanese
input mode.
･
When you switch to "NX!input Korean" or "NX!input
Chinese", you can enter characters only with
handwritten keypad.

From the Home screen,

→ [Settings]
→ [Language & Text input] → [Switch input
method]
→
Select input method

Alternatively, you can select the character entry
field (1 sec. of more)
→ [Input method] → Select input
method to switch input method.

To return to the ATOK Japanese keypad, select
[NX!input].
