appears only when the remote unit has

DATA DTE Status
DATA DTE Status indicates abnormal conditions present on the
received

signal on a data port.
Alarm Input Status

Displays Normal when no alarms are present. When an external
alarm occurs, displays the message entered in the External Alarm
Input Message in Menu-8 .
Error Free Seconds

Gives the percentage of error free seconds.
CRC Errors
Ñ(Cyclic Redundancy Check Errors)
An error checking scheme used to check the received data. The
last six frame bits are calculated using the contents of the
frame. The calculation is performed again when the frame is
received and the
CRC
values are compared. If they do not
match, the frame is considered bad and the
CRC
statistic is
incremented.
Code Violations
An error checking scheme. A code violations occurs when the
ones bit is not represented with the opposite signal of the
previous ones bit.
Frame Error Events
Used only by the remote DL600E unit. A Frame Error event occurs
when the end of the frame is not detected where it should be.
Indication Description
Normal No abnormal conditions exist
Loss of Signal Loss of DTR or RTS DTE lines, user
deÞned.
Loss of Frame Unit has received Loss of Frame signal
RAI Received Unit has received RAI.
UA1 Received Unit has received UAI.
Blank Blank for local DL600E unit.
Indication Description
Normal No abnormal conditions exist
Loss of Signal Loss of DTR or RTS DTE lines, user deÞned.
Local Test A DTE port has activated local test.
