GPSDUMP SOFTWARE (PC, Mac, ANDROID)
GPSDump is the most commonly used free software among the free flight organizations to manage
competitions; it integrates the Digifly protocol.
GpsDump allows you to download your tracklogs and upload/download waypoints to and from your USER and
COMPETITION waypoint banks.
GpsDump for PC/MAC

These GpsDump versions will only communicate with your Digifly AIR only via the USB cable and do require the
installation of the FTDI USB drivers (see paragraph 13.1).
How to use GPSDump:
o
Press the
button (“MENU” function), scroll down to "AirTools" using the
and
buttons then press
. If your Bluetooth is turned on (only AIR-BT models), you will need to choose between communication
via USB cable or Bluetooth, in this case, press
for USB cable.

Open your GPSDump and select the COM Port: go to the MISC tab then Set COM Port
o
To download a tracklog from your instrument: click on the “Digifly Air” button on the GPSDump window then
select the flight you want to download from the list that pops up.

To upload waypoints to your AIR’s Competition waypoint bank: go to menu “File / Open wpts”, open the
waypoint file from your computer, select the waypoints you want to upload, go to Menu / “Write Wpts” then
select “Send to Digifly Air Comp wpts”
o
To upload waypoints to your AIR’s User waypoint bank: go to menu “File / Open wpts”, open the waypoint
file from your computer, select the waypoints you want to upload, go to Menu / “Write Wpts” then select
“Send to Digifly Air User wpts”
o
To download waypoints from your AIR’s Competition waypoint bank: go to Menu / “Read Wpts” then “Read
Digifly Air Comp wpts”
o
To download waypoints from your AIR’s User waypoint bank: go to Menu / “Read Wpts” then “Read Digifly
Air User wpts”
