Creating routes
Overview of creating routes
The CX Video Gateway uses a routing table to route incoming calls based on their
destination and originating numbers. This table uses standard pattern matching
syntax to provide a wide range of functionality, including the ability to perform
lookups, manipulate digits, and route calls in the following directions:

PSTN to PSTN
•
PSTN to SIP
•
SIP to PSTN
•
SIP to SIP
The gateway routing table does not have default routes. After you configure the CX
Video Gateway, you must define default routes, as described in this section.
In rare circumstances, you might need routing functionality that goes beyond what
the gateway routing table can provide. For information, see
