This chapter describes the SonicWALL 

Management Tools

, which may be accessed

in the 

Tools

 section of the SonicWALL 

Web Management Interface

. The Web

Management Tools section allows you to restart the SonicWALL, import and export
configuration settings, update the SonicWALL firmware, and perform several diagnostic
tests.

Restarting the SonicWALL

Click 

Tools

 on the left side of the browser window, and then click the 

Restart

 tab at

the top of the window. 

The SonicWALL may be restarted from the Web Management Interface. Click 

Restart

SonicWALL, and then click 

Yes

 to confirm the restart. 

The SonicWALL takes up to 90 seconds to restart, during which time Internet access
for all users on the LAN is momentarily interrupted and the yellow Test LED is lit.
