SonicWALL ViewPoint Software

SonicWALL ViewPoint software includes proprietary HTML, Java and servlet files as well
as a Syslog Daemon. The SonicWALL Syslog Daemon receives syslog messages from
a SonicWALL Internet security appliance on UDP port 514 and then forwards the
messages to the MySQL database. 

ViewPoint software operates on Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4 or
greater.

Active ViewPoint Services

For maintenance or other reasons, it may be necessary to start or stop ViewPoint
services. ViewPoint-related services in the "Control Panel/Administrative Tools/
Services" directory include
