Set the Inter-packet gap (IPG) to 8 bytes for traffic on a Gigabit Ethernet interface.
Syntax ipg 8
To return to the default setting, enter no ipg .

IPG equals 96 bits times from end of the previous packet to start of the pre-amble of the next packet.
