Power Switch Module

WARNING:
To guard against electrical shock, always unplug your computer from
the electrical outlet before removing the cover.
WARNING:
Do not operate your equipment with any cover(s) (including computer
covers, bezels, filler brackets, front-panel inserts, etc.) removed.
CAUTION:
Ensure that sufficient space exists to support the system with the
cover removed—at least 30 cm (1 ft.) of desk top space.
Removing the Power Switch Module

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 11.

Remove the computer cover from both the sides (see "Removing the
Computer Cover" on page 15).

Remove the front bezel (see "Removing the Front Bezel" on page 19).

Remove the hard drive (see "Removing a Hard Drive" on page 31).

Disconnect the power switch module cable from power switch module
connector (FP1) on the system board. For the location of the connector,
see "System Board Components" on page 8.

Gently release the hard drive activity light from its holder.

Press the holder and rotate it outwards to remove it from the front panel.
