Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Compact Anesthesia and Critical Care Monitor 

4.1.3  Connection to Baxter Vigilance 

Use the INT-Baxter Vigilance Cable. 

1.  Make sure that the power on both monitors is switched off. 

2.  Connect the 9 pin D-connector to one of the connectors on the Interface Module, M-INT. 

Tighten the finger screws. 

3.  Connect the other 9 pin D-connector to the connector X3, X7, X8 or X9 on the interfaced 

monitor. Tighten the finger screws. 

Communication parameters: Baud rate 19200, no parity (none), data bits 8, stop bits 1. 
Mode of communication port: IFM out. 

4.1.4  Connection to Nellcor N-100 and N-1000 

Use the Monitor-Nellcor Cable. 

1.  Make sure that the power on both monitors is switched off. 

2.  Connect the 9 pin D-connector to one of the connectors on the Interface Module, M-INT. 

Tighten the finger screws. 

3.  Connect the mono connectors to the corresponding connectors on the interfaced monitor. 

4.1.5  Connection to Nellcor N-200 

Use the Monitor-Nellcor Cable. 

1. 

Make sure that the power on both monitors is switched off. 

2. 

Connect one of the connectors to the corresponding connector on the Interface Module, M-
INT. Tighten the finger screws. 

3. 

Connect the other connector to the corresponding connector on the interfaced monitor. 
Tighten the finger screws. 

4. 

Connect the mono connectors to the corresponding connectors on the interfaced monitor.
