General Service Guide
Batteries
The battery packages contain Ni-MH that is hazardous to the environment and therefore needs to
be disposed of carefully according to local regulations.
To replace the batteries safely, please refer to the instructions in this manual.
•
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals, this may produce a very high current, which will
damage the battery.
•
Do not dispose of the battery into open flame, nor put the battery near fire, as it may
explode.
•
Do not dismantle the battery. It contains electrolyte, which may damage clothing or cause
injury to skin or eyes. If exposed to electrolyte, wash the injured area with plenty of clean
water and contact a doctor.

Storage and transport
Do not store or transport the monitor outside the specified temperature and pressure ranges:

Disposal
