Installing the Swing Arm
IMPORTANT
Dannmar strongly recommends having a second person help install the Swing Arm.

WARNING
Use care when moving the Swing Arm. It is heavy and not evenly balanced. If it is
dropped, you could injure bystanders and damage the unit.
To install the Swing Arm
:
Make sure you are wearing OSHA-approved (publication 3151) Personal Protective Equipment:
leather gloves, steel-toed work boots, back belts, hearing protection, and ANSI-approved eye
protection (safety glasses, face shield, or goggles).
Carefully
remove the components that secured the Swing Arm during transport.
Locate the
Swing Arm Pivot
(332), two
washers (331),
Nut (334) and
Washer (331).
Have one person
hold the Swing
Arm in position
on the Tower
while the other
slides in the two
Washers (333)
on the top and
bottom of the
Swing Arm, and
then slide in the
Swing Arm Pivot
Pin (332).
Secure the Pivot
Pin with the
Washer (333)
and the Nut
(334) then
tighten.
Install the Swing
Arm Control
Screw (204).
Make sure to
orient the Swing
Arm so that the
Mount/Demount
Head is over the
Turntable.
