The target object must be in the measurement area (see Figure 6) to obtain valid measurement
results.

Z-Trak2 profiler is designed to dissipate heat through its housing. As such, ensure that it is
mounted on a heat conductive metallic structure and that the entire surface of one of the sides
of the housing makes full contact with the conductive surface. See section Temperature
management for details.
