INFORMATION
The expansion valve and motor can have a different configuration / layout.

Cut the expansion valve pipes using a pipe cutter.

Remove the expansion valve body.

Supply nitrogen to the refrigerant circuit. The nitrogen pressure MUST NOT
exceed 0.02 MPa.

Heat the ends of the expansion valve pipes using an oxygen acetylene torch
and remove the expansion valve pipe ends.

Stop the nitrogen supply when the piping has cooled down.

To install the expansion valve body

Install the expansion valve body in the correct location and correctly oriented.

Supply nitrogen to the refrigerant circuit. The nitrogen pressure MUST NOT
exceed 0.02 MPa.

Wrap a wet rag around the expansion valve body and solder the refrigerant
pipes to the expansion valve body.
