Tightening torque

The sizes of the shutoff valves on each model and the tightening torque 
for each size are listed in the table below.

To open

1.

Remove the cap and turn the shaft counterclockwise with the hexa-
gon wrench.

2.

Turn it until the shaft stops.

3.

Make sure to tighten the cap securely.
(For the tightening torque, refer to the item <Tightening Torque>.)

To close

1.

Remove the cap and turn the shaft clockwise with the hexagon wrench.

2.

Securely tighten the valve until the shaft contacts the main body seal.

3.

Make sure to tighten the cap securely.
(For the tightening torque, refer to the item <Tightening Torque>.)

[How to Check How Many Units are Connected]

It is possible to find out how many indoor or outside unit in the system are turned on by operating the push button on the PC-board (A1P) of outside 
unit (In case of multi system master unit).
Follow the procedure below to check how many indoor or outside units are turned on.

NOTE

Press the “MODE button” (BS1) if you get confused while operating.
This returns to 

Setting Mode 1 

(H1P : OFF, default).

WARNING

Electric Shock Warning

Make sure to close the EL. COMPO. BOX lid before turning on the 
power.

Perform the setting on the PC-board (A1P) of the outside unit and 
check the LED display after the power is on via the inspection door 
which is in the EL. COMPO. BOX lid.
