FRONT WHEEL/FRONT FORK/STEERING

RACE REPLACEMENT

Install the new ball races of the frame using the driver
and attachment.

Remove the top ball races bottom ball race from the
steering head using the ball race dirver.

TOOL : BALL RACE DRIVER

Temporarily install the steering stem nut onto the stem
to prevent the threads from being damaged when
removing the bottom cone race from the stem.

Inspect the followings.

- Steering head top threads
- Steering cone top race
- Steering steel ball ass’y
- Steering ball race

Install the new dust seal and washer into the steering
stem.
Install a new bottom cone race into the steering stem
using a special tool and a hydraulic press.

TOOL : STEERING STEM DRIVER

Replace the cone reces and ball races in pairs.
