A.C Generator / Starter Clutch

Remove the woodruff key from the crank
shaft.
Remove the starter driven gear collar.

After installing the flywheel puller on the
rotor, remove the rotor.

Tool: Flywheel puller

Stator Removal/Installation

Loosen the pulse generator mounting screw
and remove the pulse generator.

Loosen the screw and remove the wire guide.
Remove the stator mounting screw and remove
the stator. Assemble and install in the reverse
order of disassembly removal.

Make sure that the grommet is correctly placed
on the slot.
