Caution
C7313-43371
Before operation
1. To ensure safety, read the user guide carefully and be familiar with the operating method of the machine.
2. When turning on the engine, disengage all clutches and engage the main shift lever at the stop position.
3. Keep the enclosed area well ventilated to prevent intoxication by exhaust fumes from the machine.
4. Before any cleanup, inspection or adjustment, disengage all clutches and shut off the engine to prevent injuries.
During driving
1. Before moving forward and operating the threshing cutter, make sure that the vicinity is safe before sending a
signal to prevent anyone from going near the machine.
2. To avoid slipping or toppling, do not drive on a slope, beside a soft road shoulder or near a cliff.
3. Header should be raised during driving.
4. Rotational speed of the engine must be fixed at above 2000r/m during driving.
5. To make a turn during driving, slow down the speed.
6. To stop during driving, engage the main shift lever at the stop position.
Stop position is difficult to gauge if the main shift lever is gripped by the palm. Do not grip the main shift lever
with the palm.
7. Never operate in the auxiliary gear during harvesting to prevent mishaps.
8. When moving across rand, driving, transporting and storing, discharge and unload all harvested grain and
disengage all clutches except during harvesting.
Stop the engine
Turn the main key switch of the calibrated dial face to the "cut off" position.
Loading and unloading
1. The combine harvester may have danger of toppling and slipping during loading and moving across rand so do
pay close attention to the following:
ྙ
During loading, engage the main shift lever at the "forward" position. During unloading, engage the main
shift lever at the "reverse" position.
ྚ
Engage the auxiliary shift lever in the "low speed" gear and lower the rotational speed of the engine (not
lower than 2000r/min). Drive and operate slowly.
ྛ
Do not operate the main shift lever on the ramp. To change direction, return to the ground or the truck first.
ྜ
Only use standard ramp that is 4 times the length of the machine and equipped with anti-slip protector.
ྜྷ
During loading, it is dangerous to step on the brake to stop as it will cause the harvester to swerve
suddenly. Never apply the brake to stop during loading.
ྞ
Do so only after discharging and transporting all grain.
Parking the harvester
1. To prevent fire, never park the harvester on straws or weeds.
2. The harvester may move suddenly. Switching gear using the auxiliary shift lever must be done on level ground
with the main shift lever engaged at the stop position. Step on the brake with force to stop.
3. When leaving the harvester, lower the header and shut off the engine. Turn the key to the "cut" position and
remove it.
When parking on slope, chock must be used to prevent the harvester from sliding.
Transporting
During transporting by truck, put the header at the lowest position and step on the brake to stop. In addition, tie and
secure all hooks on the harvester and truck with ropes and chains. Do not secure at places apart from the hooks
as it will cause damage to the parts.

Caution
C7311-43651
1. If the main shift lever is not engaged into the stop
position, the engine cannot start.
2. While moving (low speed, standard, driving), maintain the
engine speed at 2,000 rpm or higher.
3. When moving on a curved road, first reduce your speed.
4. After stopping with the brake, first switch the main shift
lever into the stop position. Then, apply the brake again.
Radiator and Auxiliary Coolant Tank
Inspection
Clean
Before any operation, check the coolant level.
If the level in the auxiliary tank is low, refill the
radiator and the auxiliary tank with water.
Before any operation, brush the dust screens.
Dust clog can cause an overheating engine. If
you find too much dust on the screen, turn off
the engine and clean the screens.
After working on approximately 30,000 m
2
,
clean up dust on the radiator with the inside of
the dust screen.
