1.3.2 COMPONENTS RELATED TO
CUTTING BLADE CRANK
(1) Cutting blade crank cover
(2) Cutting blade connecting shaft
A. REMOVAL OF OIL SEAL
1. Remove the cutting blade crank cover.
2. Remove the cutting blade unit.
3. Unscrew the two nuts (LOCTITE applied) on the bear-
ing holder (3).
4. Loosen the two nuts (LOCTITE applied) on the cutting
blade connecting shaft (2). And remove the shaft.
5. Remove the bearing holder (3) by lifting it off.
6. Loosen the mounting nut (LOCTITE applied) and the
crank stop bolt (5). Remove the cutting blade crank (4)
from the shaft.
7. Remove the oil seal.
B. REPLACEMENT OF CRANK PIN AND ROLLER
(EVERY 500 HOURS)
1. Unscrew the crank pin threaded nut.
2. Remove the crank pin and roller. (The crank pin is ta-
pered. Remove it by tapping on both of the blade crank
arm.)

installed in the reverse direction from the normal
installation direction as shown in the

lubricated beforehand)
