Extended Slide Rails Warning

The weight of the appliance on extended slide rails can be enough to overturn an
equipment rack. Do not place objects on the BT1 Optional Tray Accessory or use it as a
step.

The rails supplied with the BT1 are made with steel ball bearings. The following specifications should
be reviewed prior to installation:

3.10.2 Unpacking the Tray
The BT1 Optional Tray Accessory is packaged securely for safety. Remove the tray from the
shipping container. The tray is supported in a foam lock trap assembly. See image below.
The foam lock trap assembly includes these parts:

Left and right inner rail slides attached
l
Left and right outer rail slides (in foam lock)
l
Package of screws and nuts
l
1U tray
l
Appliance lock assembly
l
Secure packing board
l
Front bezel assembly with screw extenders
