Record your controller serial number in a safe location in case

you need to contact Cyphre customer support.

If you have received a replacement FRU controller card from ©2018 Cyphre Security Solutions,
LLC., follow the instructions below carefully.

Installing a Replacement Card

1.

Unpack the new RAID controller in a static-free environment. Remove it from the
antistatic bag, and inspect it for damage. If the RAID controller appears to be damaged,
contact Cyphre Customer Support.

2.

The card jumpers, if any, are preset to Cyphre manufacturing specs. Do not change their
configuration.

3.

Connect the PCIe right-angle adapter to the card as shown in the figure below. The
adapter is the same type of connector slot found on the main board. Ensure the right-
angle card seats completely.
