Remote Storage (NAS) NFS:
This section provides a way to configure
access to a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device using the NFS
protocol.
Enable/Disable:
Enable or disable access to the defined NFS based
network storage server.
Remote IP:
Enter the IP address of the target NFS based NAS device.
Folder:
Enter a valid share name on the target server. The share
name cannot contain spaces or special characters. This is where the
recording folder structure and video files will be created.
Note: The target folder on the NFS server must, at a minimum, provide
anonymous read, write and delete permissions.

This section provides a way to
configure access to a NAS (Network Attached Storage) device using
the CIFS protocol.
Enable/Disable:
Enable or disable access to the defined CIFS based
network storage server.
Remote IP:
Enter the IP address of the target CIFS based NAS
device.
Folder:
Enter a valid share name on the target server. The share
name cannot contain spaces or special characters. This is where the
recording folder structure and video files will be created.
Note: The target folder on the CIFS server must, at a minimum,
provide read, write and delete permissions for the designated user.
Username/Password:
Enter the user name and password required
for access to the specified server.
