sliding of the tensioner, shorten the conveyor’s chain by 2 links.
Shortening of the chain is based on:

unlatching the coupling link of the chain,

taking away 2 links so that the final link is in horizontal
position (with its hole facing up),

re-coupling the chain using the coupling link.
In case of insufficient effect of tension, this action should be repeated
shortening the chain by another 2 links. The chains must be shortened
in pairs by the same number of links.
Shortening should be done with extreme care while maintaining
compliance with basic occupational health and safety rules and using
personal protective equipment.
