located on
strut.
• Fit, with a certified product, both linked
connections with pressure tubes
pF
and
pL
.
• Link valve and strut with
corresponding
pF
and
pL
tubes for a
right-hand gas train or other
“left”
-marked
pF

Leakage controller VPS 504 S02
assembly
For burners
C160, C210
• Remove both valve screws pa and pe
on the MBVEF valve, the two screws
1
and
2
on the VGD.
• Check that both O-rings are on VPS.
• Fit VPS with the four supplied screws.
• Connect 7P connector cord, according
to electrical diagram
• Connect 7P connector on VPS.
• Check for possible leaks.
With a VGD20 valve : proceed as
indicated in previous paragraph, then :
• Fit the tubes and the connection-bloc
supplied
• Fix the VPS on the connection-bloc
with the 4 supplied screws
• Proceed then as indicated in the
previous paragraph.
Important :
• Place
C160
front plate (stored with
documentation, instead of C120 to be
thrown away) on cover.
Installation
Gas and electrical connections
Gas connection
Connection of the gas distribution
system to gas train must be performed
by a technician.
Pipe section must be calculated so that
load loss does not exceed 5% of
distribution pressure.
External filter must be
horizontally
mounted on valve with a
clean
tube and
the cover placed in a
vertical
position to
guarantee maintenance.
Any other assembly is forbidden.
The ball valve (not supplied) must be
mounted upstream and as close as
possible to the external filter or valve
(pocket filter).
Threaded fittings used must comply with
current standards (tapered external
thread, parallel internal thread) and all
threads rendered leak-proof.
Allow enough space for access to set
the gas pressure switch.
Pipes must be drained upstream of the
ball valve.
Connections performed in situ must be
leak-tested using foam designed for this
purpose.
No leak should be found.
Electrical connection
Electrical fittings and connections must
meet required standards.
Earth must be connected and tested.
See electrical diagram in order to
connect burner and regulator.
On delivery, the burner must be
powered :
- for control circuit :
230V-50Hz single-phase with
earthed neutral wire.
- for power circuit :
400V-50Hz triphase.
Three-phase 230V-50Hz operation
requires the following : changing the
motor coupling, the contactor, the
thermal relay as well as using a 630VA
shut-off transformator on control circuit
(not supplied, please consult us).
Please consult us for other voltages and
frequencies.
Gas train
• Connect electrical plate standby points
on valve.
