7.12.2 Serial Number Mismatch (second time)
Problem
If the number entered still does not match, a message window appears
on the screen requesting insertion of the scanner parameters backup
CD. If the backup file was saved to another location, click
Browse to
find it.
Solution
An original, factory-produced, backup CD with scanner parameters is
supplied with the scanner. The CD is located in the installation kit.

Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive.

Click Browse in the Scanner Parameters window.
¾
In the window that is displayed, locate the backup CD on the
desktop, and click
Choose .
¾
If no backup parameter file exists, click No Backup . Default
parameters are automatically created.
