CreoScan_Log Folder
iQsmart activity is automatically recorded in the following files located
in the CreoScan_Log folder:
•
AssemblyResults.txt
•
Install&UtilResultFile.txt
•
DiagnosticsResultFile.txt
•
LogFileInstall&Utils
•
EverSmartDb.iQsmart
3
These files are located in the CreoScan_Log Folder, and contain text
information concerning the test results and descriptions of the test
processes. In case of a scanner operational problem, we recommend to
save the latest CreoScan_Log folder immediately to avoid the files to
be overwritten when the application is relaunched.
You may need to use the information stored in these files. For example,
if you have to report to your service center, they will want to receive a
copy of this log folder (CreoScan_Log folder).
You can send the log folder in one of the following ways:
•
Send the contents of the folder to the service center by e-mail.
•
Copy the folder to a CD or diskette, and mail it to the service
center.
•
Print out the files in the folder and fax them to your service center.
(The files can be opened with most word processors).
When you run the scanner application from the folder created during installation,
the CreoScan_Log folder is automatically created in the same folder. All log files
are written to this log folder. If, for any reason, you have dragged the application
to another location, a new CreoScan_Log folder is created in the same new
location.
