Startup Sequence

Power ON the scanner (the main power switch on the back of the
scanner), then press the Power button on the Operating panel to
switch the scanner ON.
When you switch ON the scanner, the Power LED on the operating
panel is green. During the diagnostic self-tests, the Status LED
illuminates according to various stages, as follows:
•
The Status LED is
orange
for several seconds when the scanner
is switched ON.
•
The Status LED
turns
OFF
for several seconds while the
scanner checks the firmware.
•
The Status LED turns
green
.

Startup Troubleshooting
If the startup sequence is not completed successfully, one of the
following events will occur:
•
The Status LED remains
red
(possible hardware fault).
•
The Status LED remains
blinking red
and the Power LED is
red
because one of the safety switches was activated.
•
The Status LED remains
orange
(missing firmware, which may be
loaded after launching the Calibration program or the Installation
and Utilities program).
It is recommended to continue with the installation procedure even if
one of these events occurs. If the installation procedure is terminated
and cannot be continued, contact your service center.
For iQsmart3 only
: The Status button on the Operating panel is used to switch
the light table ON and OFF when the top cover of the scanner is open.
