Optional Linearizer

D-1 Optional Linearizer

The optional Linearizer has been adjusted for optimum performance at the factory. Tube
replacement will require readjustment of the Linearizer at the factory by trained personnel (see the
service manual for more details).
The user may modify the linearizer settings from the factory values. Doing so may cause the Ka-
Band TWTA performance to degrade. For this reason it is recommended that if the user wants to
change these settings, they should always record the factory set values (below) before making any
changes.
