3. Enter the stale connection timeout value, in seconds.

Enabling Sticky Network Aggregation
Sticky Network Aggregation enables Equalizer to correctly handle sticky connections from
ISPs who use multiple proxy servers to direct user connections. Sticky network
aggregation is only applicable for L4 load balancing of generic TCP and UDP clusters.
When sticky network aggregation is enabled, all of the connections coming from a
particular network are directed to the same server. (Typically, all of the servers in a proxy
farm are on the same network.)
To enable sticky network aggregation:
1. Log into the Equalizer Administration interface with edit access.
2. Select Configure TCP/IP Options from the Equalizer menu in the main menu bar. The
Change Equalizer Parameters dialog is displayed in the right frame. By default, the
TCP/IP tab is visible.

3. Enable sticky network aggregation by selecting a Sticky Network Aggregation mask
from the pull-down menu. When sticky network aggregation is enabled, Equalizer
routes all of the connections from a particular network to the same server. The
