Cod. 1910000001187 - nv01

English

•  It  becomes  possible  to  give  off  heat  to  the  water  in  the  condenser,

heating  it  up  to  60°C.  The  accumulation  (200,  300  litres)  allows
heat to be stored and retained for a long time, thanks to the 50 mm
polyurethane insulating shell.

•  Finally  passing  through  the  expansion  unit,  the  fluid  returns  to  low

pressure, it cools and is again available for "loading" more "ecological"
heat from the outside.

It is also possible to use auxiliary sources, with additional heat exchangers
connected to boilers or solar panels. The standard unit uses a single
phase electric resistance of 1.5 kW. The tank is made of carbon steel,
with internal Polywarm

®

 treatment, inspection flange, magnesium anode,

device and outer covering in PVC.

5.  Installation and Commissioning

5.1  Definitions

•  USER - The user is the person, entity or company that has purchased

or rented the machine and intends to use it for its intended purposes.

•  USER / OPERATOR - The user or operator is the person who is has

been authorised as a user to operate the machine.

•  SPECIALISED PERSONNEL - Intended as those individuals who

have followed specific studies and are therefore able to recognise the
dangers resulting from use of this machine and are therefore able to
avoid them.

•

5.2  Safety regulations

The Manufacturer declines any liability for damage due to
failure to observe safety regulations and preventions described
below.

The Manufacturer also disclaims any responsibility for damage caused
by improper use of BOLLYTERM

®

 HP and/or modifications carried out

without authorisation.

•  Installation must be performed by specialised personnel.
•  Use  suitable  protective  clothing  during  installation,  for  example:

goggles,  gloves,  etc.  as  indicated  in  norm  686/89/CEE  and  later
amendments.

•  Operate in absolute safety, in a clean and uncluttered environment

during installation.

•  Respect the laws in force in the country where the machine is installed,

with respect to use, packaging disposal and products used for cleaning
and machine maintenance, as well as all instructions suggested by the
manufacturers of said products.

•  Before operating the unit, check the integrity of the various components

and the entire system.

•  Never touch moving parts or interpose between them.
•  Never carry out maintenance and cleaning works without having first

disconnected the machine from the mains.

•  Maintenance and replacement of damaged or worn parts must only

be carried out by specialised personnel, following all instructions
contained in this manual.

•  Spare  parts  must  correspond  with  the  requirements  defined  by  the

Manufacturer.

•  Comply with related emission regulations when disposing of the

BOLLYTERM

®

HP.

N.B. When using BOLLYTERM

®

HP, the installer and the user should

consider and solve all other types of risk associated with the
system. For example, risks arising from foreign bodies or risks due
to flammable or toxic gas at high temperature.

5.3  Preliminary operations

•  Verify that the various components are intact.
•  Be sure to use the provided or specified parts for the installation work
•  Check that the packaging contains documentation.
•  Move the packaged section as close as possible to the installation

location.

•  Do not place tools or weight on the packaged unit.
•  For  proper  leveling  of  tank  use  the  special  adjustable  feet  (kit  on

request), taking care to tighten the locknuts (see operating instructions
of  the  kit).  To  avoid  rupture  of  the  insulation,  the  tank  must  be
suspended from the ground with all three feet resting on spacers.

5.4  Place of installation

The BOLLYTERM HP must always be installed in a closed environment
protected against atmospheric agents, far from open flames, heat sources,
electric components that could produce flames and/or sparks and in general
from any possible fire-triggering cause, on a flat surface able to support
the weight of the product itself and its contents, without increasing noise
or vibration. Before connecting, verify that there is sufficient space for
flange, magnesium anode and resistance extraction.
•  Provide for minimum clearance as shown in the figure in order to make

installation and routine and special maintenance possible.

•  Verify that the locations for tank installation have openings large

enough to permit the free passage outside of the machines themselves
without any need for demolition work of any kind. The warranty does
not cover any costs arising from non-fulfilment of this point.

•  Check that the volume of the room where is intended to install the

product is such that, in the event of leakage of the entire refrigerant
charge, the refrigerant density (kg/m3) does not exceed recommended
limits imposed by law (see the type and quantity of refrigerant charge
on the product label).

•  If you use the unit without the air expulsion pipe, the volume of

installation location should not be less than 20 m3. The warranty does
not cover any damage resulting from non-compliance with this point

•  Do not position the unit in locations where flammable gases or acidic

or corrosive substances that can damage components beyond repair
are found.

•  Make sure that the tank installation location is equipped with a drainage

system (outlet) adequate for the tank volume and any other devices.
The warranty does not cover any costs arising from non-fulfilment of
this point.
